Anyone ever wonder what is the point of local news blogs like Wansteadium? Well, here’s the answer: photos, as submitted by readers, of the Wanstead Village Dog Show.

Chris Darling, aged 14, sent this photo of Toby who won best puppy in show. Toby’s a nine-month-old cockerpoo.

Reader Camille sent the following photos of Tinkerbelle (right) and Suzie (left) showing off their prize rosettes with owners Louise and Heather after coming first and second in the ‘best old timer category.’ Carefully phrased.

This is Suzie the bichon frise getting ready for the ‘best fancy dress category.’ Camille writes she was unfortunately pipped to the post in this category by another bichon who goes by the name of Honey Boo-Boo. Honey Boo-Boo probably sees it differently.

And Kirsteen sent these images of a bucolic idyll. All the better since it normally rains.
