Wanstead toy shop pops up

Unannounced and untitled, a toy shop has appeared on Wanstead High Street. It’s in the modern block near Snaresbrook Station, close to Lilies of Wanstead.

It’s small, but looks well worth investigating. More information to come when we know more but in the meantime, score one point for high street diversity.

  1. Great to see an fun new shop that’s not a franchise coffee shop. Here’s to more imginative shops to keep the high street alive!

  2. It looks very attractive. Unfortunately that end of the High St doesn’t get the footfall as the rest however I wish it luck.

  3. I popped in last Saturday. A very friendly lady at the till. And then on Sunday I was at a birthday party with my family and it turned out the owner of the store was there too! It is a very small space and so it will be vital that they display new lines regularly, but she was well aware of that so I think this is a great addition to the High Street.

  4. Toy Shop in the foyer of an office block? Like a squatter?

    Surely need planning change?

Do not want to encourage this type venture. What come backs does one have with faulty goods say?
