Last year Wanstead Fringe hosted its first Spoken Word evening in the intimate surroundings of City Place Coffee on the High Street. It was a runaway hit, with brilliant performances and enthusiastic support from the audience. Building on this success we are back on Weds 14 Sept in the newly extended City Place with an increased audience size of 40. Join us for new work from 8 brilliant poets and spoken word artists from across London, or if you have work of your own and would like to perform we are offering an open mic – simply email chloe@canoeinc.com to join the lineup.

All performers are waiving fees and all money made through ticket sales will be donated to Tin in a Bin.
