The Stars from Wanstead

September 9 at 7:30 pm - 9:00 pm

For star gazers of all ages, this evening will include an introduction on telescopes and astronomy, and a chance for children to make their own rockets. It will also celebrate Wanstead’s unique place in the history of understanding space – with a talk about the life and work of astronomer James Pound, who is buried in the next door church yard at St Mary’s. This event will be put on by the North East London Astronomical Society and Beyond Earth.  Please use the RSVP buttons below if you’re intending coming.
