Not being fishy types we’re not sure what to make of reports that carp have been released into Eagle Pond. Wansteadium reader Adrian Wright sent us these pics – but can anyone shed any light on to how the fish got there, whether they’re likely to survive, or perhaps do any damage, and whether this is a good, bad or merely curious development?
There have always been carp in Eagke Pond….I think!
I’ve been spotting them there for years too. They keep the pond clean.
