The regular backgammon group which meets every Monday at the Duke will be hosting their annual tournament, The Peter Stevens Memorial Trophy, throughout the Fringe. Rounds will be held each Monday during the Fringe until there is a winner.  The tournament is named after founder member Pete who sadly took his own life in 2021, and supports his favourite charity (The UK Men’s Shed Association) UKMSA. The tournament has so far raised in excess of £1k through the tournament.  Entry is £25 and the prize money is split between the Charity and the winner of the tournament. The Tournament is open to all (not just members). All donations to the charity UKMSA are welcomed.

Arrive from 18:00pm. Entries must be submitted by 2^nd September; serious entries need only apply. You will be expected to commit to the tournament.
