A hustings focussing on the environment will be held in Wanstead Library in the run up to the GLA elections on 2 May. Candidates or representatives from all the main parties standing for the Havering and Redbridge constituency have been invited. Questions can be submitted in writing in advance through this link, or on the night. The event is jointly organised by Wanstead Climate Action and East London Humanists.

There will be many topics on this election agenda, but few can be as important to the future of Londoners as the way environmental issues are tackled. This is a rare and important opportunity for residents from across the political spectrum to gather together to quiz candidates and to hear them discuss the issues.
