The strange tale of the creation of the celestial firmament. A surrealistic fairy tale that combines a vulgar performance and a chamber-style play, in which twin brothers try to get out of a fish bubble, girls look at a giant flying head, a prince in an airplane saves a village from a touchy tiger, and giant fish eat stars. It is a philosophical parable that illustrates how one zodiac sign replaces another, grey people realise they have lost to the dragon, and the sun and moon invite everyone to their rituals.

Dragons & Lions is a theatre dedicated to contemporary mystical UK-based dramaturgy. We are interested in the avant-garde, mysticism, archetypes, grotesque, humour, and tragedy. For us, it is important to be both strange and mysterious, while also achieving audience success. The theatre was founded in 2022 and exists in a permanent circuit between London and Sheffield. We have created two hour-long productions, which we have successfully presented in London, Sheffield, Accrington, Penistone, and Norwich. We are inspired by Christianity, European paganism, and post-dramatic theatre. All our sets, masks, and costumes have been handcrafted by us.  We are the true essence of theatre.
