Recital: Five Rooms
A room to listen, a room to discover, and another room to escape the noises of life.
The Music Rooms is a series of concerts offering a fresh listening experience in the heart of Wanstead, presenting eclectic musical programmes and extraordinary musicians. These concerts aim to offer a cosy headspace to reflect and explore through music, like a living room whose doors open to further, uncharted rooms.
The Music Rooms is curated by Simone Spagnolo, award-winning composer, lecturer, and Wanstead resident.
The first concert, titled Five Rooms, features internationally renowned violinist Jan Regulski, musician of vast experience and outstanding calibre. The concert will articulate through five musical scapes recalling mystical tune, movie soundtracks, imaginary creatures and free improvisation. The programme will include music by Arvo Pärt, Valentin Sylvestrov, Astor Piazzolla, and Simone Spagnolo, who will accompany at the piano.
It promises to be an exciting, mesmerising performance, kindly hosted at Wanstead United Reformed Church.
The concert will last approximately one hour.
