Recital: Journey of the Heart
Join award-winning composers – Anastasia Nikki Forova, Jess Kennedy and Asa Lindstrom, all Walthamstow based – for a unique blend of original instrumental, film and singer-songwriter music. This concert will present “Journey of the Heart”, a collaboration performed on piano, violin, cello and four voices. Emotive compositions alternate with powerful releases and soaring melodies, combining drama, tension, hope and love.
Nikki Forova is a Ukrainian composer and recording artist. Her orchestral, vocal based music is found in Bridgerton TV show, Victoria Secret, Nuclear Family and Mountain Queen Netflix documentaries. Her songs have won awards and have been performed around the world during Nikki’s tours.
Jess Kennedy, an Australian composer and pianist, has toured in the UK and Germany. Her collaborations include co-writer, pianist and harmony vocalist in award-winning band Beatrix Players. Writing emotionally charged, instrumental music has led to her current passion for composing production music.
Asa Lindström-Hasselblad is a local singer, actor, composer and founder of a Norrsång Choir. With a passion for story-telling, folklore and cinematic sounds she has performed French chansons, folk and soul music and is currently working on new compositions with folk elements.
