Local saxophonist, Melanie Henry and the Opus Sax quartet, present a programme of trios, quartets and quintets written, or transcribed, for the saxophone. With influences of Baroque, Medieval, folk and jazz and featuring composers such as Felix Mendelssohn, Percy Grainger, Mick Foster, George Gershwin, Gordon Goodwin and Althea Talbot Howard, expect an evening of entertaining listening and conversation exploring the rich and varied sound world of the saxophone.
