Wanstead Book Festival presents: Ian Dunt

Wednesday 13 September 2023 at 7:30 pm

Outspoken journalist and commentator Ian Dunt knows something has gone terribly wrong with our society. It’s a feeling many of us have, but we struggle to articulate exactly why. Ian has no such problems.

In his Sunday Times bestselling book How Westminster Works… and Why It Doesn’t,  he lifts the lid on what has happened to politics, exposing aspects of the system in a way that can be understood and challenged, from the heights of Downing Street to the depths of the nation’s newsrooms.  But he also provides a vision of how it can be fixed.

Ian is a columnist with the i paper, and was a presenter on the Remainiacs. This is a return visit to the Wanstead Fringe for Ian – following his hit 2021 visit speaking about his earlier book How to be a Liberal.  He’s always outspoken, often sweary, always insightful.
