Kicking off the festivities, a series of tree-lighting events will take place in local towns across Redbridge. The evergreen trees, adorned with twinkling lights and ornaments, will be officially lit, from 17 November to 1 December marking the beginning of the holiday season. All events will feature live music, a brand-new show for 2023 from Redbridge Creates – The Mice before Christmas, an appearance by Santa Claus himself, who will be on hand to hear children’s Christmas wishes and craft workshops at local libraries.
