Women’s Rights and Secularism
Monday 14 April at 7:30 pm - 9:00 pm
Free
Megan Manson, Head of Campaigns at the National Secular Society, will explore how working for women’s rights has often gone hand in hand with working for a secular state – one where all are equal under the law irrespective of religion or belief. With the roll back of rights from the US to Afghanistan to Turkey, this is a timely event.
Free and open to all. Doors open 7.00 pm for socialising. Meeting starts 7.30 pm. Plenty of time for Q&A’s and discussion.
