In the summer the primary school children of Wanstead were invited to take part in the Fringe Handwriting Competition. Today's the today that the winners will be crowned - come along to the Fringe stand at the Wanstead Festival to find out who's won.

Mandala drawing workshop

Drawing mandalas, geometric pattern with their roots in eastern spiritual contemplation, is relaxing and some people find it therapeutic. Wanstead resident Katherine McKnight will be leading two workshops, the first for primary school-age children, the second for adults.
