Takes all sorts

Tastes will vary on whether the professionally applied graffiti make the blue boards better or worse – but one obvious risk of the idea is that every nitwit with a spray can will see it as the start of open season.

Graffiti is just one of the aspects of anti-social behaviour that people can report to the police using a new app, Police.UK, which is available on both app stores. It was one of the things highlighted at last week’s Wanstead meeting of police, Redbridge councillors and officials, Calvin Bailey MP, and residents and businesses which discussed methods of tackling anti-social behaviour.

  1. Creative graffiti on a building site fence is an improvement .. mindless tagging isn’t. On private property is outright vandalism

  2. To be honest, when I noticed it I assumed it hadn’t been professionally done, just ASB, let’s see how long it stays as just that one piece. But Personally I don’t like it

  3. The graffiti looks terrible, this is not a skate park. Its hardly Bansky is it.

And yes graffiti is becoming a big problem, its vandalism and makes buildings look hideous.

Want to improve the way things look? Plant more trees and greenery!!!
