Having a street party? Dangerous with cars otherwise?
Crazy font, crazy people……
Could it be for a street party? Has somebody royal done something?
Heaven forbid a street fancies being able to enjoy their road without cars zooming up and down it. Good on them. Leytonstone high street has a car free zone every now and again. It would be great for Wanstead too.
Plenty of alternatives to the car (walk, cycle, bus, tube). I despair at the number of my neighbours who drive the 0.5miles to the high street,

Just as a matter of interest, does anybody know how many legal hoops had to be jumped through to get the relevant road closure authorities etc? Was it as tortuous as I suspect or relatively straightforward?
