Geoff Wilkinson writes on Wanstead Daily Photo: “You have probably noticed how well kept and attractive the front garden is at The Corner House on the High Street. Well the other day I wandered around the back and that was looking pretty smart as well. What really caught me eye though was these sea shells that someone had taken the trouble to line up on the ‘rustic’ brick wall. Nice touch.”

The Tap is running
It’s been a couple of weeks now since the Wanstead Tap opened its shop, so time for Wansteadium to mark the event. Familiar to frequenters of the Farmers’ Market, Dan Clapton has taken the plunge with cafe and shop premises in Forest Gate, where he is selling a wide variety of local and notable beers.
The shop is a short drive away at Arch 352 Winchelsea Road, Forest Gate E7 0AQ but well worth a visit. And in a new venture, Wansteadium is pleased to unveil the Wanstead Tap online shop. You can order beers from the site, and there’s free delivery to houses in Wanstead.

Geoff Wilkinson writes on Wanstead Daily Photo: “Smashing sky as the sun got lower on Tuesday evening. I couldn’t resist taking a picture, although I do have to curb my enthusiasm for sky photography otherwise I wouldn’t publish anything else. Anyway to make it a little different I photographed it reflected in my car window and so picked up reflections from other odds and ends. Not conventional I know but I do rather like it.”
