School’s nearly back, but there’s just time to build a Wanstead landmark in Lego. It can be any landmark – the photos are just suggestions – and it can be whatever size you like. And there are prizes for the best – the judging will take place before the showing of The Lego Movie on Saturday night, which is part of the Wanstead Fringe. The competition is open to adults too. But children will probably win.
Bring models along to the gardens of Christ Church on Wanstead High Street by 7pm on Saturday night. Attendance at the movie (to which all under-16s must be accompanied by an adult) is not necessary, but would of course be awesome. Tickets can be booked here.
