In spite of hard times for many traders, there is a plan for a cheese, charcuterie and wine bar in the former Martin & Co offices at the Snaresbrook end of the High Street. Reports are that the bar could open as soon as September.

OMG cheese, charcuterie and wine – just heaven sent…..
Lovely! Will be nice to get more down the Snaresbrook end of the high street. Please be dog friendly
Please don’t be dog friendly – there’s a silent majority that frankly are a bit tired of looking at dogs bottoms, saliva, hair at a number of eateries on the High Street whilst trying to buy/ enjoy time out. Plus dogs trying to sniff your food when eating…’no, they’re not being friendly, you (as the owner) are being intrusive and not allowing me to enjoy my space’.
Similarly, keep your dog on a lead please whilst in the park . I’m tired of dogs running around and it’s a potential threat. I saw two dogs running towards a small baby today – thank goodness the parents were at hand. The owner? Having a chat…400 yards away!
