Wanstead Bookshop presents poet Hannah Lowe, winner of the 2021 Costa Book Award for her anthology The Kids, which chair of judges Reeta Chakrabarti described as “a book to fall in love with – it’s joyous, it’s warm and it’s completely universal. It’s crafted and skilful but also accessible.” Hannah Lowe was born in Ilford and based The Kids 10 years of experience teaching at City and Islington College during the 2000s.

Hannah will be in conversation with Wanstead poet Victoria Richards.
