Intro to Rocket Yoga – A 4 week course
This 4 week course is designed to introduce you to the foundations of Rocket yoga. Rocket yoga is a dynamic, playful and powerful style of yoga, with roots in ashtanga. It combines a vigorous flowing style with strong holds and inversions. It will challenge your strength, flexibility and stamina but you will have lots of fun in the process.
Over the 4 weeks, each class will build on the last to help you progress in both your Rocket yoga postures and sequences. The classes follow a set structure to allow your body to warm up, peak in activity and cool down safely. Expect a perfectly curated playlist to elevate your practice and get you into that flow state.
Suitable for beginners as well as advanced practitioners.
Price: £15 for a single session or £55 if you book onto the 4 week course.
Please bring a mat if you have one.
A bit about the teacher:
Dr Nneka is a passionate and vibrant London-based yoga teacher of Ashtanga, Vinyasa, The Rocket and Yin Yoga. She has more than 10 years’ experience in the Yoga practices of Vinyasa, Power Flow and Jivamukti. She has trained with the top yoga schools in London and continues to maintain a regular practice with some of the biggest names in yoga. She empowers students through an individualised approach to Yoga that considers each person’s unique body type and structure, allowing them to achieve a body experience rather than an outside image or ideal.
She has an extensive scientific and medical background and holds a PhD in Respiratory Medicine, with a specialism in lung diseases. She is an advocate of a holistic lifestyle, appropriate nutrition and wellness and is committed to promoting health and lifestyle consciousness to her students and beyond.
