Many ambitious lighting displays around Wanstead this year – but our eye was caught by this enormous tree on Cranbourne Avenue. It looks even bigger in real life – and faithfully wrapped in lights as if it was a mere Tombliboo bush. So one question: did they use a cherrypicker or a drone?

It is indeed! He does a good job does Pops!
I think next year we should have a competition for the best decorated shop on the High Street. Hopefully the businesses will up their game which should attract more visitors to come and spend their cash here. We need to ask the Council to upgrade the street decorations, our Christmas tree is looking so much nicer this year and we need a better display along the High Street.
