Well – The area could do with another Tea/Coffee place so who knows.
I think the building works are starting
To prevent access. The owners are probably worried that the site was about to be illegally occupied!
The Evergreen Field has been left empty and forbidden to the community for more than 40 years. It is home to some wildlife but also plenty of rubbish. It is a ridiculous waste of a potentially lovely green space which could be used by local people in a wide manner of ways – sensory garden, play area for disabled children herb garden for the community to use etc etc. Surely Redbridge could open up a dialogue with the owners of this space to maybe rent it to the local Authority if the money required to buy it is not available?
