Pupils at Snaresbrook Primary School have taken part in the creation of this mural commemorating the anniversary of the start of WW1 – the poppies were each painted by a different class. The mural is being unveiled on Friday morning in the company of a WW2 veteran who was awarded a bronze Burma Star.
Manor House, the cafe-bar-restaurant in the former Allied Irish Bank, is set to open any day. Seating installed on the former car park at the front is one of the final touches.
