The Tap is running
It’s been a couple of weeks now since the Wanstead Tap opened its shop, so time for Wansteadium to mark the event. Familiar to frequenters of the Farmers’ Market, Dan Clapton has taken the plunge with cafe and shop premises in Forest Gate, where he is selling a wide variety of local and notable beers.
The shop is a short drive away at Arch 352 Winchelsea Road, Forest Gate E7 0AQ but well worth a visit. And in a new venture, Wansteadium is pleased to unveil the Wanstead Tap online shop. You can order beers from the site, and there’s free delivery to houses in Wanstead.

Geoff Wilkinson writes on Wanstead Daily Photo: “Smashing sky as the sun got lower on Tuesday evening. I couldn’t resist taking a picture, although I do have to curb my enthusiasm for sky photography otherwise I wouldn’t publish anything else. Anyway to make it a little different I photographed it reflected in my car window and so picked up reflections from other odds and ends. Not conventional I know but I do rather like it.”
House rules for comments
We value Wansteadium’s form as a place for friendly conversation, both on comments on stories and on Wanstead Talk. Everyone is welcome to add comments here and take part in conversations, whoever they are. To keep it this way, we are somewhat more specific about our house rules for contributions than many other websites. So please keep all comments friendly, polite and constructive.
Thank you for your help in keeping Wansteadium Wansteadish.
