It’s not too late for children aged 7-11 to sign up for the inaugural Wanstead Youth Theatre summer camp which is taking place in the last two weeks of August – and which will culminate in a short Shakespeare performance during the Fringe itself.
The camp is going to be facilitated by David Alexander, professional actor and drama teacher with more than years experience, and will take place at the Wanstead Curtain, the home once again of this year’s Fringe. Children can attend for one week or both.
There are more details on this Fringe page, where places can also be booked.

Hope a good venue should be fun. Living in Wanstead many years besides the genteel people of Wanstead and seeing people come and go the Fringe Theatre is a rare opportunity to see young people take to the stage. An old regular friend of mine who walked for longer the streets of Wanstead loved to get people interested in the old relics of timeless past, the theatre Wanstead Park open air and ideal in temperaneous climate change.
