It was nice while it lasted, but the days of Wanstead Fish seem well and truly over. Thanks to Kevin the Fish and his successors for bringing us a fish shop while they did.

Did whoever wrote this never notice the stink of rotting fish which stretched along the High Street and filled British Heart snd La Bakerie?
Yes but we were being generous
I was lucky to be given a week’s fish supper eating the best fish ever the day the freezers went down at incredible prices. Very grateful and best wishes hope the stink lingers on in the mind!

Very sad to see this shop go. The OAP Wednesday bargain30% off was always welcome as were the friendly faces and fresh fish
